Hey guys,
Looking for a cowbell sample or rex. I have looked thru all the reason instruments but no luck!
I know I have heard one in reason before but can not find it.
Can someone point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

There is one (two, actually) in the ID8 instrument. Load one up, choose "Drums", and the cowbell is on G#2. There is one on Acoustic and Pop, and a different one on Electronic. Full GM Midi chart for reference: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... rumMap.gif
Also there's the "Republik Handheld Percussion" RE, by Jiggery-Pokery, which most probably contains some, although I'm not sure because I haven't tried it, but you could: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... ercussion/

The Phuturetone Silverbox refill, which includes an 808 emulation, is free. http://www.phuturetone.comArrant wrote:I think the classic house cowbell is a staple of the Roland TR-808.
Sampled drum kits from the 808 are abundant, so you could start your search there.
Cosmopolis, out now: : https://timeslaves.bandcamp.com/album/cosmopolis! Check out the first single, "City Lights:

hehe.
Um, as to your question, and I haven't tried, could you simply get a clip/sample on google and then download, load to reason, and rex........fit to taste?
I have a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.
