'thumbs up' post replies, and @*** tagging capabilities

Hey guys, was just wondering if there was a possibility to get a sort of 'thumbs up, thumbs down' add on happening?
It's just cos I see a lot of posts that I like (and some I don't like ) and I'd sometimes prefer to just appreciate the post rather than reply to it and then I can move on to the next topic.

I figure also too it gives some kind of feedback and validation for everyone posting here as well in some way...

Also could we have the ability to be able to @ tag our friends so that if we are somewhere lost in the forum, and we would like them to come and take a look - that they can come and have a look or maybe help us find the way out lol??

Just a couple of thoughts / ideas for shortcuts, etc.
