I'm trying to post an image in a topic and I just get a little box with a cross and "image" next to it.
I'm using a link from flickr (https://flic.kr/p/yoXasU) wrapped in the Image

You realize you have unwittingly exposed your real name. ;) Expect a few magazine subscriptions.

That Flickr link pointed not directly to your image but to the page built around it, so I viewed source on the page and grabbed the URL to one of the thumbnails. Then I hyperlinked the [img] tag to your original link.

But surely it shouldn't be as complicated as that? What's the point of Flickr providing a code that does jack all when you try to post a link?
Thanks anyway, and don't tell anyone our secret ;).

I usually sell my crack for books...hence I'm only allowed a Kindle.

Yay I did it. Thanks Jon for the suggestion - not that easy at first but once you suss it out it works.

P.S. I'd put up a link to the post in the Hardware forum but I can't see how to do that.
