I enjoyed the ability before of 'liking' a post without wasting thread space to first quote it and say "+1" or "I agree" or "YESSSSSSSS ^This!"

Is it possible to have a 'like' feature here?

People of course would still have the ability to quote and reply when they have something to say. But a 'like' feature would be great.

Actually the old forum even gave users a "reputation" based on the likes.

Actually, considering I had the lowest rep vs post count of any member there, I am quite satisfied with the new setup after all

I can live without likes but now there is no place on the internet that say I am a beatmaker

I had a 92 réputation and was on the rize , I hope we get the dead horse and the facepalm and the larfe crying émoticons back !

for everything else it is best now IMO , I can even post using shit (edge) when I aint got 3 or 4g

this format definitely allows for titles, that's up to Lunesis.

Agreed. I'm sure they're still playing with it. I think it's odd that the different color schemes also have different layouts and features.
I think there needs to be consistency across the board and only variance in color options. If I want something to go into 'night mode' I simply want exactly what I'm seeing to go into night mode. As it stands now, if you switch it, your eyes have to relearn it.

But both feel very busy. The old forum was very simple and clean. Kudos to that and sorry for the troubles endured. I'm also still trying to make sense of all these different icons: black text, red text, asterisk, scrolling text (which give me a headache), etc. and exclamation points inside light bulbs which are supposed to represent pinned or sticky threads...

But I do appreciate all the work that is going in

Elegance and digi are better... and I appreciate all the hard work, too! Don't want it to seem as if I don't.

Yes, the themes, the themes... It's a bit of a tough one. Creating a theme from scratch takes, well, weeks, months, hard to say.

This platform has a lot more functionality, which adds a lot of extras, I know.

The "like" functionality is back.

This time in the form of a "Thanks".

We've gone with a subtle solution that is extendable. We'll see where it goes from here, but now, you can Thank your beloved post authors

Also, I think a 'like' button serves a better purpose if you can see a like count. Not possible?

I'm using the dark theme, and everything is still the same, except for the "thanks" counters under the usernames. No like button to be found, quote button still there.

We might have jumped the gun here, the developers of this particular extension (3rd party) are still working on some fixes.

I have to disable it for the time being, my apologies.
