Ext Midi Loopers - NO SQ64! - Which is better?

There's some serious Midi Looper out there, which does the job of ext Midi rec outstandingly better than the Korg SQ64, which is giving me headheaches night and day...
Which one of these would you think would do a better job at easing the process of just rec ext midi ( multiple CC's included) for Dawless sets??

First choice would be MIDIPHY LOOPA - It has Song modes as well, unfortunately it has been discontinued in the DIY version. Full assemble 600Eur...

The second is Bastl Midilooper, 400Eur at Thomann.

Others Seq, like the Pyramid might do the job as well, but is getting a little out of budget
probably the SQUARP HAPAX is way overkill, but still on the 'job'...
