Can Xone K2 trigger notes ?

Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to use the A-P buttons from the Xone K2 to trigger notes from samplers like redrum, umpf etc or any synth like any drum pad controller would do. From my understanding drum pad controllers works out of the box but since the X2 wasn't made for this purpose i don't know if it's possible.
