TR08 clock sync

Just tried hooking up my Roland TR08 over usb to Reason 12. Got the channels all working fine with the TR working as the asio sound card. But when I went to select the TR as the midi clock destination it threw up an error, unknown exception. I could have the TR as the master clock but then the Reason record button won’t work so basically I’m unable to record in sync. Anyone else got one of these working ?

Reason can only send clock to one device. do have have clock going to any other device? Also, you can only have one asio device in windows.
