After FL Studio, AKAI offers stems extraction
A feature I would love to see in Reason one day

Yep. Serato Sample, FL Studio and now MPC all adding built-in stem separation recently. It would fit perfectly with the Reason ethos.

Akai has two massive advantages over FL Studio in that this 1. will (eventually) run directly on the MPC in standalone mode, and 2. integrates smartly into the MPC workflow.

Also, just in case ya'll missed it, there's a brand new MPC coming as well. They teased a photo of it on the Stems product page and the marketing email they sent out:

Well seen for the photos, I hadn't particularly paid attention to them when I went to the site this morning.

My MPC ONE first version, still does the job very well

Fingers crossed for this apparently new mpc meaning version 3 of their mpc software is imminent 🤞

I don’t really care for the stems separation 🤷‍♂️

I get the feeling the leaked MPC is another keyboard.

This inside the MPC is a game changer.
