Interesting. Looks like they are targeting the Roland SP-404 MkII.
The only problem is that the Korg is more than double the price of the Roland and that's before you consider the cult status of the original SP-404. Not sure the KAOSS tag will make up for that.

I don't see any basic sequencing capabilities on the machine.

Yep. It seems to do less for more money. Maybe we're missing something or maybe it will bomb. :D

Could be aimed more at the DJ booth. You can change double for anything DJ related compared to music production. Just look at the prices of a 4 channel mixer.
