Hi@all

Has anyone experienced issues mapping the Korg nanokontrol Studio since Reason 12.7 ?
Ever since Reason added official support for the Korg, mine ceased working.
While Reason detects it as usual, the buttons and dials do nothing. There's also no visual confirmation.
The controller continues to work flawlessly in Reason 10 and Reason 11 Suite.
The Lua files I use don't work on the latest version.

I did also a fresh install on a new Hardware without any other midi devices, it's still the same.

I've been stuck for a while, so any and all suggestions is appreciated. Thanks!

Poppin' in to bump thread as I was looking at that controller since the update. My suggestion would be to contact Reason Studios as to why the opposite has happened.
Just copy and paste what you say above along with any relevant files, if needed.
Hopefully, someone can pop in here and suggest a more specific answer for you.

If it worked with older versions, how did you set it up? Are you using the codec found here: https://github.com/maghul/Reason-KorgNa ... ter/Remote

Hi@all,

It worked!
I've tried rmtcvolte's suggestion and tried the mappings by maghul. The file structure has changed since Reason 12,
remote files are no longer in "C:/ProgramData/Propellerhead Software/Remote",
they're in "C:/Program Files/Propellerhead/Reason 12/Remote".
In there, there is the following file structure:

+---BuiltinCodecs
+---BuiltinMaps
+---DefaultCodecs
¦ +---Lua Codecs
¦ ¦ +---Korg
¦ +---Midi Codecs
+---DefaultMaps
+---Korg

The nanokontrol devices are in a combination file "nanoSeries", the real devices should be autodetected.
I've replaced "nanoSeries.lua" as well as "nanoSeries.luacodec" in "DefaultCodecs\LuaCodecs\Korg
and the "nanokontrolstudio.remotemap" in the "DefaultMaps\Korg" directory with the files I've
downloaded from Github, this led to an error.

Since I have no other devices by Korg, I've deleted all files in the directories
(If someone has the same problems, make a backup of the files first)

"C:\Program Files\Propellerhead\Reason 12\Remote\DefaultCodecs\Lua Codecs\Korg"
"C:\Program Files\Propellerhead\Reason 12\Remote\DefaultMaps\Korg"

then exclusively added the files by maghul.

Maghul's thumbnail couldn't be displayed. I've copied back the original png from Sweden to
C:\Program Files\Propellerhead\Reason 12\Remote\DefaultCodecs\Lua Codecs\Korg

Thanks for the update and good work, glad you got it sorted. So a change from 12 onwards, ok 👍
