From the same people that brought us the very useful VidPlayVST comes a new DAW video VST, which allows some extra function at least over VidPlayVST.

Sorry to say but this really is not cutting the mustard. It's only going to be 30 pounds or so but damn the features are quite poor. Not sure if the intention is to improve it but if it releases like this I do not have high hopes for it. I imagine it can be really fun to trigger moments in a video and more via midi but this is old news. Why do it live in house of your DAW when you can export audio and midi into another program that makes this look silly in comparison.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the idea of it?

Hey, maybe Reason will have some video functionality somewhere in the next 400 to 500 years, I just hope people from the future appreciate it!

The idea might be to perhaps include it into some VJing for live performance or youtube tutorial content or simple music videos. But in general there are more suitable tools for these special art forms.
