NORD VPN

I've heard about NORD VPN and how great it is to have for security plus being able to log in to different sites globally,

however does anyone out there already use a VPN on their laptops/MacBooks - is it worth it ? does it effect your DAW? ETC

Well I know that when you sign up to the free offers and all the shiny stuff everything is hunky dory but once they get that sweet 1 year subscription payment from you they throttle your speeds.

I used both Astrill and a home-rolled solution using V2Ray when I lived in China, they didn't really affect things like Reason or Ableton in any way. I wouldn't bother with it unless you have a real need to bypass geo-restrictions or content-blocking firewalls though.
