For what it's worth, when using Analog Lab V the knobs don't jump to values, they pick up logically. Perhaps this is a software thing that's not implemented in Reason in general? Or do other keyboards support this?
Just one more thought on this, the keybed is fantastic for a mini keyboard, compared to my Launchkey mini. I love it.

I think that parameter pick up is something which has to be implemented in the luacodec of the Remote implementation for the controller unless the firmware of the controller takes care of this.

Thanks for confirming this. To me, that negates the entire benefit of endless encoders vs traditional knobs with hard stops. It's a shame they can't integrate it without parameter jumps when it works flawlessly in eg Ableton Live.Faastwalker wrote: ↑18 Nov 2022
I checked the settings for Minilab 3. You don't get much control over how the knobs and sliders behave. You can change speed, pad response etc. But parameters jump to control position when switching devices in Reason.

Just picked this up and couldn't figure it out. Thanks man! So far so good. For the price and at least reasonable level of integration its a great step up from the old Akai I used to have. I do enjoy how the 8 knobs seem to align naturally to decent choices within each reason device. I'm so used to manually doing it anyways that it doesnt really matter. All in all a nice upgrade that adds more integration than I am used to so its a win for me.Faastwalker wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022Just a case of pressing Shift + Pad 3 to put it into DAW mode, then using auto-detect in Reason’s MIDI setup area. Job done!

It’s easy, I just do not say it! But I also say “dee bee” and not “debs”, and “vee you” and not “vue”, and so on…integerpoet wrote: ↑18 Oct 2022Somebody please tell her to stop saying DEE-AYE-DOUBLE-YOU.
It's not just her, of course. How on earth do people not say "daw"?
Aww shucks, or should I say, DAW shucks?
