GPU Audio promises to “dramatically enhance performance by offloading processing from a computer's CPU to its GPU”. It’s VST3-compatible and is said to work at extremely low latencies.

This will be a massive game changer because it means we can now do some insane amounts of realtime processing - especially linear processes like convolution reverbs, or additive oscillations.
If done right it could also revolutionize ITB modular processing.
