I'm getting a Steinberger Spirit XT2 bass for my birthday!!!!! A black one, with of course black hardware.

I’m still playing the pink Japanese Fender Jazz Bass I bought 25 years ago. I mean it’s pink.

I wanted to spraypaint my white P-Bass in Candy Apple Red, but it became a sort of pinkish...... I like it that way!!!!

I stripped the laminate off of my drumkit decades ago, hoping for a new more modern look, defaulted on the downpayment on new laminate (solid fire engine red). Stained them a marvelous blue/black. Nobody's kit looks like mine. Or sounds like it, for better or worse.

I don’t know why I wrote Jazz bass. Mine’s a Precision too. Guy in the shop told me that Fender had done a run which should have been coral pink but it came out salmon pink (or the other way around) so they were selling them off cheap. It’s a great bass.

I'm fond of parading around my apartment naked with my $200 bass girded to my loins with Cerebus set to stun.
Downstairs neighbor complained once.
I believe Dad flew her back to Kansas pretty darned quick.

I know the answer is most often “wherever you think it sounds best”. But…where is the best place to put a tremolo pedal? At the moment I’ve got it after a chorus and before a phaser and delay.
