Hi all...

As I may have mentioned just once or twice ( ) I got myself a new keyboard on Monday. And it has these Wheel touch-strips (don't know the correct terminology) and as ever, I was interested to hear any thoughts from you guys.

Are they put there for cost-cutting, or because they are a genuine alternative (hopefully the latter!)? Can you do things with the strips you can't do with a traditional wheel? I am still useless at using them, I am guessing time & practice is the answer to that, like anything.

Do people have any preferences, as always be interesting to hear you guys - I get some great replies on this forum (that is why sometimes I just don't Google it, it's nice to hear other peoples thoughts on things.....).

Cheers.... (and have a great weekend all.....) :-)

The advantage of the touch strip is that you can do quick jumps to new values. The disadvantage is that you have no tactile feedback and doing very small adjustments is harder.
