What to do with an old Mac mini 2009?

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

I wonder if i could make use of an old Mac mini Core 2 Duo with 8 GB/SSD Upgrade with Reason 10.
Can Reason 10 even be installed on this oldie with El Capitan - and be used, when i do not play complex combinator patches and only the Instruments from these times?

I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to use it

I have a similar age Macbook Pro and struggled to run Reason on it, but switched to Logic and it zings along with no issues at all.

There's also a patched version of one of the latest OSes that works fine. Vishesl has no clue here. These machines are still very fast and useful. I have a 2010 model and it runs the latest Logic Pro X as well as the latest Reason version. No problem whatsoever.
