how long does it take developers to come up to speed with drivers for the current Mac OS?

.... used midi man radium 61 on old system and it was usb plug and play... tried it last night with reason 11 suite, and there no drivers available to make it work as it should... had to use the midi out port to my scarlet to make it so I could at least trigger notes... upon a search... it seems 99.9 percent of developers need to get on the ball... not buying another controller until they work this crap out
