How to make the most of my new IKM Uno Synth?

Just got my first hardware synth and I want to get all that I can out of it. I'm impressed so far considering the price. I've downloaded the firmware updater, synth editor etc from the IK site.

I've also ordered a midi cable and a USB otg cable for my android phone. I'm mostly looking at using it as live / backing instrument for jamming with friends or maybe even a bit of busking with guitar.

I'm hoping with the above I'll be able to use a drum machine (In Caustic or FL mobile) on my phone and input the audio of that from the phones' headphone jack into the synths' audio input whilst at the same time exporting MIDI for a bass line over the USB otg cable. Possible?

Any other cables/apps I can get to make the most of my Uno? Thanks.
