Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49/61 MK2 and Reason Studios 11? Do they work together?

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

Hello, I am considering changing my midi controller, the NI Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2.

I have already looked up a few things on the net. It doesn't seem to work as well as the S49 / 61 MK1. Does anyone have experience with the Komplete Kontrol S49/61 MK2 from Native Instruments and Reason Studios 11.

What is the MCU issue about? Did they solve it? Do the transport buttons like PLAY, STOP, REC etc work? Anyone with experience here? Let me know.

Greetings...

I have the MK2 49, but I mainly got it for a MIDI controller for its basic MIDI note functions. However, the remote mapping override is as simple as its ever been to quickly map stuff. You can also save MIDI templates within the MIDI Software for the keyboard to remember. I don't use it all that much but its there if you want to randomly switch MIDI CC Mappings

Thanks for the answer.

Can the Rec / Play, Stop buttons be used?

And also scrolling in the browser of Reason Studios 11

with the arrow keys of the Komplete S49 / 61 mk2 keyboard?

This is possible, for example, with the M-Audio Axiom 61 MK2 to scroll between the presets in the browser of Reason Studios 11.
