Not a reason only issue - audio crackling

i have an ASUS laptop.......good one i can say i bought it last year about $1000

i noticed popping and crackling but thought always is going away and wasn't really into making music back then (just learning) so i didn't mind it that much


in any way

i tried several methods shown on youtube how to fix it to no avail......

just checking if anyone has experience on this, this happens on VLC player, everywhere basically.

The first thing I'd look at is the power management, anything other than 'performance' is likely to compromise your audio. If it says 'balanced' or long battery life or something you should proably change it.
