oscillascope for lfo bpm

i didnt realize what a mine field this is all to measure the frequency of the oscilater being effected by the lfo, Though i have a ear for the lfo
i would feel more confident of the bpm of the piece if i had visual back up of the bpm of the hardware lfo. Any information on this topic appreciated as im a bit strapped for price it would be nice to find won that mreasures the audio bass beat/frequency of the lfo on the oiscilater midi versions would also be wellcome, cheers,
