Android as XY Controller and more

Has anyone done the TouchDAW on an Android and Windows?

I'm interested in your experience before I dive in. But it looks like a very capable XY pad and Android sensor controller.
Could be a great way to add expressiveness with midi cc modulation etc. I think you can also use it for transport control and F-keys.
For me I would use it 100% connected via a USB cable. Don't want Wi-Fi blasting me where I sit.
