MC-101 is SHIPPING! I got MINE!! ... comin' in the Mail, that is...

a lil loloop 707 vs 101.

I really wanted the 101 for my immediate needs, so I am gonna wait until delivery (soon!) to fire them up!
... the form factor of the 101 is a Godsend.

Here are some honest opinions and thoughts on the MC 707 from someone who used the 505 a lot:
MC505 was literally my very first piece of equipment and my first steps into DAW.

It took me a while to realize how terrible it really was :D

While the 707 looks okay, I would only consider this for live performances given the price tag.

I would never, never again spend a single penny, on something that comes with only usb power option, never.
I done it multiple times, and I always had to hack somewhere just to have a reliable, noise free power, short protection...

500$? No way. But I kinda like it over the circuit, it looks nice with all the clip and scene stuff (MC101)

It is embarassing to see that the 707 has a DC in option, and the 101 does not. What a pity.

You got the 101? That looks like a ton of fun , for sure; I'd be very pissed over the power in, but it's just personal opinion.

power in vs audio in?

Battery , USB, and AUDIO over USB? its Perfect
But, Yes! I wished for Audio IN. But, Blackbox, 4ms recorder and the 707 has me covered.

The 101 is 8 Drumbrute Impacts - the way i figure it.
I might get 2 101s. One for drums, one for tones/loops/mobile.... - or, a 2nd 707 for Audio in

Gets here next week.

I finally got around to buying an MC707 after spending months reading reviews and watching YouTube vids.
The thing is amazing.

It’s basically like having a DAW in a box and the workflow is really fast and intuitive. I’m really impressed.
It’s one of those dream devices where you sit down in front of it, grab your headphones and suddenly it’s 2am in the morning. Wonderful.
