Mac mini

Hi,

I’m currently using a late 2013 Macbook Pro / 2,6 GHz i7 / 16 GB.

I will have to get a new computer soon and I’d like to experience a little boost in the performance.
However, I have (until further …. ) decided to stay on a budget. This budget allows me to get the Mac Mini with the following spec:

CPU 3,2 GHz (6 core) i7 / 32 GB RAM / 1 TB SSD

I guess what I want to check with you guys, is if you see any obvious shortcomings in making the move to this Mac Mini?
Will there be a noticeable improvement in performance with this new cpu compared to the old one?

It would be great to hear your thought on this.
