midi to cv converter
hmm these seem a bit expensive is there a behringer version or a low cost version, i seem to remember a post on this topic recently preferably not eurorack

Seems all the super cheep (under $100) are kits and Eurorack, since these don't include power supplies or cases (cutting costs).
For me, I was in the market for a new MIDI controller, and found one that included two channels of CV conversion (Novation SL mkIII).
Along those lines, you may want to look into the Arturia Beatstep series, often available starting at under $100 and including MIDI (USB) to CV. Plus, it's a pretty cool little sequencer, similar to the one in the MiniBrute 2s that I have.
