Just a heads up for anyone interested.
From Reason 10.3 and above, VCV Rack works great in sync with Reason, using the bridge plugin.
In this video i am sending a sync pulse with Expert Sleepers SW Sync plugin.
The poor buggy bridge performance which was due to the VST problem of Reason that got recently fixed, is now all gone!

Can you explain how you sync Reason and VCV by using the bridge?

You send a sync pulse, I guess it is at least one good method.

Work arounds are nice and all but I’m holding out for when VCV Rack can be used like other VSTs in Reason.

Can’t you just send the stereo output to the sub, and then feed the monitors from it just like some of us would in Hauptwerk?

Hi there!

I sync the applications using modular sync method.
Clock pulse through audio, hence the use of the dedicated SW Sync plugin.

I can do this using bridge, or also without bridge by routing virtually through my MOTU interface connection matrix.
see this video:

@MannequinRaces
This is not a work-around, this is one way of doing things.
For me it is currently the most stable and reliable method.
Loading a daw as VST is another way of doing things, which currently isn't yet for VCV.
Unless you want to dabble with VeeSeeVee.
