Hello!

Is there anyone who can enlighten me how I can get this pair of Tandberg TM6 back into business? I haven’t found any adapters... Do I really need to put them under the knife? It would be nice to keep them in their original condition.

Just a guess, but that 3-pin connector is most likely: left channel, common GND, right channel. To be sure, just hook up an oscilloscope and check the waveforms to get the actual pin out.
It might also be that one pin is for (phantom) power.

EDIT: Found this page: http://www.elektron-bbs.de/elektronik/k ... io/din.htm

Thanks for your reply!

Actually, the pins are specified in the attached spec sheet. It says “Pin 2 ground. Pin 1 and 3 balanced signal”. Maybe I should clarify that if some kind of surgical procedure is required, I will take the mics to a repairman. But I still have hope that some sort of adapter is available somewhere, or am I out of luck?
