Mac mini 2018 I7 does It makes difference

I’m looking to move to a Mac mini... but despite reading articles on the difference between i5 and i7 I cannot decide if the extra cash for the latter is worth it ... especially knowing that their is currently in my country a good deal on I5 / 250gb ssd for 1080 euro !

Any advice specific for reason ? ( multithreaded benefits, multi core )

Both should be rock solid for Reason, no worries there.

I have the i5 version. No cpu issues. The i7 allows for hyper threading but whether or not hyper threading in Reason is beneficial varies from system to system. Of course still the i7 would be better, but I'd don't necessarily think you'll notice or miss it.
