Hi All!

I had a new laptop about 3 months ago and when I got it 2 things have been happening that I need to fix.

1 - When I plug headphones / earphones into the earphone port, the headphones work but the sound still sounds from my laptop speakers. Odd behaviour that I've never come across before. Any ideas?

2 - The F keys don't work in Reason as they activate other laptop functions such as:-

F1 - Launches Microsoft Edge.
F2 and F3 - Brightness Up and Down.
F4 - Brings up a kind of side screen on the right with screen options on it (see pic.)

Holding shift, ALT or ctrl doesn't rectify the situation either.

Anyone know how to get rid of the those functions so I can use the F keys to operate Reason. The main one that annoys me is (seeing as I'm on my laptop and not desktop computer) not being able to launch the On-Screen Piano Keys using F4.

Thanks!

For the function keys there's usually a uEFI/Bios option to enable those permanently (and there should be a fn-key to do it temporarily. The manual/handbook of your laptop should have more info on this.
