So Apple finally upgraded the Mac Mini, looks like a good upgrade but honestly why does it take 3+ years for a trillion dollar company to make an upgrade??? They should be doing it every year, ok I’m just venting.

Does it really matter why it took them that long? I think it’s simply because they have prioritiesed other things. And on the other hand it might have taken that long because Apple wanted to do it right, probably the air circulation thingy in particular. No matter what, in my humble opinion, it’s great that Apple hasn’t neglected their ‘little ones’, i.e. the MacBook Air and the Mac Mini, so I’m glad that Apple has finally renewed both machines. And honestly, I find the Mac Mini being a pretty tempting ‘box’.

Thinking about getting this to replace my late-2013 2.3GHz iMac. Anyone have a recommendation for a cheap monitor (my iMac's screen is 21.5" and I'm fine with that size).

Why not just use your iMac as a screen for the mini just connect the mini to the iMac turn on bout press F2 on the iMac keyboard and it is a display for your mini :D then press F2 again and you have iMac in action (Facebook and other not music related stuff)
