Wireless audio from iPad to mac?

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

I'm looking for a solution to send wireless audio from an iPad to mac.

I've been looking at apps like AirServer and also just been looking at Bluetooth audio receivers, that could instead just hookup to an audio interface.

Is there any piece of software out there more geared towards just receiving audio from an iPad on macOS?

Is there an elegant solution for an RF transmitter/receiver?

Is anybody else doing this with any other approach?

Thanks!

I use Airserver.. used. It was when I wanted a way to get audio/video from the iPad without emailing.

now, streaming music to the Mac from the iPad... that's unchartered territory, I believe.
and, you'd need an iPad Pro to even entertain it, seriously.

if you recall, Auria had to 'redo' the code and recharge everyone $50 for their iPad DAW. (bummer)
Latency, latency.

Air server does send audio.. never bothered if it was mono or stereo.
but, the Auria APP may speak to streaming specifically (multi-track, btw) or it may give you other ideas.

Good Luck, Joeyluck!

Ya know, I forgot about Audreio, by the company of the same name who bought and own Sononics... https://audre.io

Might give this a try.

Looks interesting, but nothing on audio quality - if that matters.
No specs on the site that i could find - easily.

Old iOS streaming should be interesting, as well.

For $25, not bad.

Have you seen any video demos? setup?

I hadn't and it turns out the project I'm working on no longer requires wireless audio since the iPad will be mounted. So I can use a trusty cabled connection
