Smaller. Better Kick(s). Same crispy highs, though. Nice.
4 configurable outs. CV triggers would’ve been perfect.

Great little unit. Sounds good to me. Nice & compact for the desktop. Great price. Very hands on & playable. Very tempted by this.
FYI: @Sweetwater in two weeks.
Original Drumbrute was great - as far as programming. Lots of fun!
But those kicks were horribe! Still ... it was so much fun to program... I held on to it.
I’ll get the rtym a some point - but I don’t wanna menu dive right now.
I need to get the beats out of my head.
For immediate fun, 64 steps, the touch strip, and direct access to sound parameters -
Nothing comes close
.. this seems just right. Size, Access, Analog, drum pads, and the crispy highs.
I almost got the DC-1 from S-Machines. $400
I did get the SD-1. Small. Sounds Great! $150 sale price (vs $250) made it a no-brainer.. But 1 out.
IMPACT has 4 outs, I believe. More than enough!

SHIPPING!
Got mine! Very nice.
Pads.
Sounds.
Tweaks
Unquantized... YES!
Crispy Highs
Useful FM Drum
Tight Tempo lock - for me (two decimal places)
64 Steps.
** SMALL **
Tempo, MIDI, in ouut.
Kick, Snare, HIs, FM Drum out.
Pretty
only wish the TEMPO config was a la Roland - or Korg (only ones who get it right)
The whole number and decimal value can't be seen together.
And, you can't go from 88.5 to 89.5 - like Roland/Korg... it resets to 89.

There are Four "Individual" outs which means-
1 -Kick
2- Snare(s)
3- Hat(s)
4- FM Drum
and the Headset and MIX.
A mini 808 is the bees knees. Quantize OFF (Shift+Record) is the killer feature for me though.
The main kick is proper. the FM drum is versatile. (wish i could "play" it)
And, try that distortion circuit. Very nice Gain Compensation.
It's not the be all and end all, but it's by my side now. Puts off the RYTM for a bit...

No problem on the info.
But, I dont understand the first part... where is the DIGITAL 1/2 Price?
If you mean a Drum Machine for $150-175, there are plenty.
Alesis... or the Rhythm Wolf...or, the Volca Beats or Drums/summin....or, Software!!
Choices for Everybody!
Pick 1, or 3: Best of 2018, as per WR: https://www.wirerealm.com/guides/top-10 ... m-machines
