Wow... this is going to be interesting. Maybe we'll see a slight course change for the new i7/i9 chips roadmap?
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich (who has been with Intel for 36 years and helped shape what Intel is today), CEO since 2013, has resigned after the company learned of a "past consensual relationship with an Intel employee."
Look, I'm totally onboard with the #metoo movement and making the workplace a fair and safe environment for all to work, but a consensual relationship?! Meh...

True, true. And their point (from a Human Resources department perspective) is that Intel has a strict "non-fraternization policy, which applies to all managers". So... there's that.

Their strategy is still to “transform Intel from a PC company to a company that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.” Meh... I just want cheaper desktop CPU's and MOOOAAAAAR COREZ!!!

Google, and now Intel. AMD was smart to have a CEO not like Google and Intel.

Apple must've had some foresight, hence switching to their own chips

He was also at the helm during the Specter & Meltdown debacle. Not to mention the insider trading he didn't get investigated for. Something tells me they were looking for a reason to put some distance between themselves before the SEC drops the hammer. This was just a good excuse.
