From GUITAR pedal to EuroRack.

PLL. Phase Locked Looper.
Technically my second module (ordered)

Same PLL circuit as the original Flex, Flex PRO, and FLEX xs guitar pedals.
Dry/Wet mix for added versatility
Input VCA with offset changes tone drastically based on input level set.
FULL VOLTAGE CONTROL

The Mantic FLEX is available to pre-order via WMD for US $199.

A Beast of a Module. Listen to the DRY signal at the 2:24....i like DRY/WET

What is the FLEX....?

The worm has just turned for me...
"...and the evening and the morning was the first day..."

Just arrived.... so has the Mordax DATA... and the RackBrute....
Image

Red strip facing down.... check..
Red Strip facing -12V.... check...
Plastic washers..... check.... came with the RackBrute, even!

FYI, the Mordax DATA is very intuitive, Oscilliscope, Spectrograph, LFO/Tone Generator.

More detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECxVqUX5iU4

The Mantic is the most powerful distortion device I've ever used. clean lowF and high.
WMD GC Pro. . FW Sonic Alienator. Oto Biscuit. Moog's Drive.

Mantic adds explosive power. It makes Blade's Blood Dance sound like a Johnny Cash song.
under Voltage Control, it pops and sizzles..
- Gnarly, blood-curdling filter sweeps are easy.
- Any loose transients in your sound is getting load in a lazer cannon and shot out the speaker at speed.
...if you get my meanin'

Honorable mention to Moog's Drive, though... it makes all those pedals,... just... BETTER.

MATHS comes Wednesday... then I slow down in picking VCO, Quad VCA, DUAL ADSR, Clock,...

FYI, the Geiger Counter Pro is MUCH more versatile, so give it a go:

Euro rack gear is out of my budget so if everyone could just stop posting about it for a while that’d be great. Lol y’all are killing me.

Seriously though the units you posted look very fun to play with.

Thanks for the laugh.

Far from Rich. I don' t have Deadmau Space or $$$. (NYC) .
But, there are some things you just gotta do.

I NEEDed to understand :
- PHASE, POLARITY sonically
- Envelopes, ADSR, AHDSR, Rise/Fall, AD, etc.
- Triggers, Subtle Firings,
- Clock detached from the Main tempo.. some you tap, some you dial, some you mix and match.
- An OSC or Two that are ready to go... so's i can
R and D the wave (SIN,SQU,TRI,wave-table, position, etc) 'combo' best for the part.
- not much of a random tone generator but, scaling CV to key seems interesting (YARNS)

In short, my OCD caught up with me.
But just one day on, and all those UTES in the REASON rack are "like sauerkraut 'een my hands."
Image

I got 6U cause... that's it.. and it will take a while to fill.. BUT, I am so glad I crossed over.

$$ wise, it's
- $600 for the mini 2s, but a mother 32 (keys would suffice) .. I like the Seq - but HATE the SIZE
- $300 for the rack brute...
that's it.
Modules. MATHS (3) + a filter , ADRS, and VCA (5, total) +cables ($100) comes to $1800.

I've seen Audio interfaces for that much. Drum machines. Synths - easy. Guitars/Bass! Microphones even!
What comes out of this mini laboratory is just not possilble ITB, imo.

Yeah everything I’m seeing/hearing points toward that.
I’ll get on board at some point. Just can’t right now.
