Anyone have experience with Midas Venice used with Reason?

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

Huh? In what respect? It's a normal analog mixer, how is Reason relevant?

Assuming it’s the Venice F series in reference, at one point they used to ship with a version of Reason. There’s no Reason specific functions though.

Hm. It's wired to Pro Tools on a mac atm so it controls the tracks in PT. It has an ASIO-driver so should be usable in any software according to this video

Reason was given in bundle with the mixer and it was rewired via firewire . Every single analog channel was seen and routed in Reason.. I planned to buy in the past.

In this video you can see reason in the background.

Aalright.. that was the Midas "F32" console with the Firewire integration on the surface.. Only saw that one once. Well in that case its basically like having a normal multichannel audio interface from the Reason perspective, theres not more "integration" or anything like that on the Reason side.

the interesting thing that stoked me was to be able to work with Reason's channels with
an analogical approach. but I would have come back 20 years .
Now digital and several saturation plugins etc. allow me to work comfortably
and save the mixing sessions together with the song itself.
Too comfortable.
Infact now I stick with controllers and .... Reason ofcourse :puf_wink:
