Uh...this software still exist? I tried this many years back, liked it, but felt very limited. Guess there changed a bit in the meantime. The "new fresh interface" looks like a flat piece of bleached paper Tbh, i just liked it for the CD mixing and burning feature and this is obsolete now. Cant find infos about their instruments
Hum...yea, thx....ACID Pro software works as both a ReWire host and a device. Use ACID software as part of your synchronized workflow with compatible applications such as Sonar, Nuendo, Cubase, Live, or Pro Tools.
Reason12, Win10
My exact reaction. Though you'd think they'd have a lot more information for a product relaunch. 2nd thought is how Many DAWs does Magix intend to have? They now have 4 with considerable cross over, 6 if you include the Music Studio versions. Why relaunch Acid Pro?

Must admit, always had a soft spot for Acid Pro. My second most used DAW next to Reason. Sonic Foundry Acid Music was the first music making program I ever bought for PC. I still use Vegas Pro for video editing. I have access to Premiere Pro as part of my Adobe CC subscription. But I tried it for a while then went back to Vega, which I found much better to use. Same with the old Sonic Foundry > then Sony > now Magix Sound Forge. Best audio editor I've ever used.

I always tend to forget this but I started out on ACID way back in the day! It still has some charm. And hey, don't knock low-tech stuff! Burial wrote entire albums in SoundForge. Whatever works ya know
So this "refreshed" interface - looks like they just colored it black. The mixer is still ugly and the entire app looks very Windows 95.
