Hi,

I would like to hear from anyone who has made a non wireless midi device ie Keyboard / MPD Pads into a wireless system.

I have only just started to look into this but so far I have decided that I will need;

A Midi Device

A Cable that can let power into the device and send out midi date from the then powered device

Some sort of power device ie Rechargeable Battery with USB Connections

Some sort of Bluetooth Transmitter with Female USB Socket that can send The Midi Data from The Midi Device

Some sort of Bluetooth Receiver attached to The Computer.

Ideally all of this would be small enough to comfortably mount underneath A Trigger Finger Pro.

Any help would be greatfully accepted.

Thanks in advance

Chris

https://www.thomann.de/de/yamaha_md_bt0 ... dapter.htm

Works with Windows "Creator Edition" and a bluetooth 4.0 dongle or any recent Mac with Bluetooth 4.0.

Don't buy the "quicco" Midi-Bluetooth adapter, its firmware sucks and they don't manage to fix it since years.

Def. lots of ways to do it these days. If you’re more of the DIY mindset, this is one of the better tutorials: https://learn.adafruit.com/bluetooth-le ... r/overview

Hi,

I have seen these but I need to use USB Out because on The Trigger Finger Pro there is only Midi Out And No Midi In and I will need both for the Full Reason Sequencer Experience.

This looks cool but I think I need something "DIY" but really just a few parts to but and plug in!

Like this but cheaper!

Wat? That sentence didn't make sense to me. Anyway you can use these with only a MIDI OUT, in fact they need the MIDI OUT to get the power but they don't need to be connected to a MIDI in. But they have both.

Edit: D'oh, I should read better. If you want to use USB theres this one here: https://www.thomann.de/de/yamaha_ud_bt0 ... dapter.htm But it needs separate power because a USB slave device (like your keyboard) can't supply power via USB. But you can still use the adapter I linked earlier connected only to the MIDI OUT.
