Pretty fun idea. It's an analog synth on a USB stick controlled via plugin/standalone app.
Available on Amazon, but not in the US.

This is one of those concepts where as soon as you see it, you think "Oh, yeah. Obviously. Why didn't everyone think of that?"

The KVR thread is hilarious. Like, actually hilarious.

Hang on, so it's an analogue synth 'inside' a USB stick, right?

Yes. Literally just an analogue synth made out of small SMD chips on a small board, controlled via USB.
But some of the KVR people are really struggling to understand the concept.

But it's a great idea. Expect to see more - like a small audio-interface-sized box with a USB connection and a pair of analogue outputs. You could easily do all the classic synths this way - with no keyboard, pots, mod wheels, encoders or switches, production would be vastly cheaper. And, since there's no copyright law covering electronic circuits, the world's your lobster.
