Note! Due to very high order volumes, we are currently fulfilling orders to our US and Canadian retailers. Octatrack MKII will be available for purchase once this is done.
Beautiful Beasts. Never had one, but Heat and Digitakt tells me I should get educated.

Now shipping - behind original schedule of September 2017. Back ordered for Three Weeks, at Least!
I really wanted to start with the A4, but that's pushed back until January '18:
(Overbridge - $89USD for full "separate DAW tracking streaming - 24 bit/48 kHz)
What’s new?
Reworked analog circuitry delivering very deep and defined bass
Enhanced analog overdrive for more bite and growl
Crisp, large OLED screen providing optimal feedback in dimly lit environments
Ultra durable back-lit buttons. Rated for 50 million presses
Precise, hi-res encoders
Quick performance controls
Increased amount of dedicated buttons enabling quicker workflow
Stereo audio outputs for each voice
Expression/CV inputs for external control of Analog Four MKII parameters
Overbridge with higher bandwidth
Premium cast aluminium enclosure
Least immediately interested in the Rytm, but do wonder why it's $3-400 more than the other MK2s.

How stable is Overbridge in DAWs other than Live? Ask them to do a full demo of it in any DAWs but Live, Mac or PC first.

"Ask them to" ... ask who, exactly?
The answer below seems to suggest there was no problem at all. Seems like any MIDI setup.

(Finally fixed!) Syncing a DAW with Overbridge & other external Midi gear
In short hear is how I did it, I have my (ANY ELEKTRON) act as a (kind of) Sync box for all my other gear. So my DAW controls the ELEKTRON via OB and it sends the clock and transport. The ELEKTRON receives this and via a Midi cable attached to it's Midi Out port, sends it's clock and transport onwards to other gear. In my case I have it running to an empty in on my iConnectMidi4+ which then distributes the midi info onwards.
"To top it off, sequences seem to stay on the money... Oh man, I am so happy right now!
I hope this helps anyone. And apologies if this is common knowledge "

Full O'bridge for Digitakt isn't on yet. I barely scratched the surface but it sounds so Good.
Heads Up: Digitakt is SOLD OUT everywhere, like Octatrack MK2. No idea when new ones are scheduled.
I do have to try that Overbridge BASIC. Maybe tomorrow eve. Easy way to LEARN the workflow.
Thanks for reminding me about Overbridge ... in my case, for the Digitakt.
[Note: I see no mention of Overbridge for the Octatrack MK2 Basic or Otherwise]
Reason has been keeping me quite busy finalizing my audio/acoustic lessons, thanks to VST support.

It is good news OB works in all DAWs without issues. Elektron used to demo OB in Live. Could not find a vid with them using another DAW. I am not going to get an Elektron product anymore, but that's good news for people who wanted to use their Elektron gear as an audio card too.O1B wrote: ↑11 Oct 2017"Ask them to" ... ask who, exactly?

First this nonsensical ... request
When did you decide this? Where you EVER deciding to get it? Why Post here?
You shared nothing.
You brought up a false dilemma - i.e. "daw issues"
Then the "Im not gettin ''it ennemore' - what made you decide? change your mind? come to your conclusion?
I would think that would be constructive, rather than that weird
you left.
But don't worry, I'm sure you'll find tech that suits you.
then, this ham-handed "all DAWS .. no issues" followed by " I am not going to get an Elektron product anymore"

Who are you and why should I care how I make you feel?
Don't worry for what?
Why did you post a self portrait? Cute baby but...
After deciding not to purchase the A4II+OB, I went back to a faithful RME solution. I got the Digiface USB. I was almost ready to wait months for the A4II+OB but decided it was not for me.
Not really sure why some people on a good community like this here need to act like that. I am surprised, you've been around for a while and you seemed OK and helpful.

(... notes to self, if nothing else...and, ) for those who are deciding...
Last week I was told Octatrack: 3-4 week delay , and A4: delayed until Jan18 - like the BeringerD... Now....
Note! The Analog Four MKII will ship within 10 business days. However, due to very high order volumes, we are currently fulfilling orders to our US and Canadian retailers. Analog Four MKII will be available for purchase once this is done.
Modular control
Not only a splendid synthesizer, the Analog Four MKII can also make other gear sing. Thanks to the CV/Gate and DIN sync outputs, external analog gear can be controlled in great detail. Make any modular or vintage synthesizer rig come truly alive.

So I picked up the Analog Four MkII after falling in love with the Digitone, especially as a way to carry around four different synth voices at the same time. And while I thought the Digitone sounded generally pretty good, well, the Analog Four MkII sounds absolutely phenomenal. It's certainly not the greatest bang-for-buck proposition, but it provides a lot of the same joy as the Digitone for me, and as an analogue synth, may be one of my best-sounding units. I'm floored.
Here's a track I recorded with the Analog Four MkII while I was travelling (it was a good travel companion!). Take a listen!
