Controllers, OSCillators, MIXER, Modifiers, OUTPUT.
My mono synth search is OVER.
Killer, killer Filter... if you use nothing else on the unit, the Filter is Sweeter that the MF-101... much more control. w/two you have a HP/LP, zPlane, or Stereo Filter.
The D's filter gives off more transients than I can get out of my Resonators. And because it is HP OR LP (only LP on Moog?), you can really tune to the resonant locations - like with Funk-a-Duck, or Koma:
The three OSC with independent tuning - AND ON/OFF - is a dream. it's what I've been looking for... (looking for noise, and sub - as well.) most other synths are dependent on the FIRST OSC - or, the OSCs have to be reset to be turned off (mBrutes) - losing your settings.
Housing, Knobs and Switches all work... not Moog quality, but better than Arturia.I feel confident the unit will last for a while.
New life to my Korg SQ-1... I didnt even know it could do... that!!
Having A440 at your fingertips makes things so much easier. as well.
Size and connectivity options make it no-hassle. There are 2 1/4 outs, a mix out, Main out, and a Headset out - so, No shortage of audio output.
Sweetwater and Musicians Friend synchronized the delivery.
So, now I'm running minimoogs in Stereo for $550 - or - one as a Sound Source, and the other an active filter. Ill give it two weeks, but I'm sure ll keep both.
(Sweet water seems sold out already, so these things are moving)
Up next : Neutron...., and the Arturia 2s for a proper step sequencer.
