I'm selling my Golden Age pre73 mkIII and not 1 hour after posting, a dude called me up and wants to trade it for:
1) Arturio Microbrute
2) Korg Vulcan bass
3) V-Machine loaded with synths, fx and dynamics
(yes, all 3!)
I'm not much of a keyboardist but having more live options always sounds nice. We talked for a while and compared dick sizes, as it were, about our own gear and studios haha. He says it's all in great shape but doesn't have the original boxes and he said I can come by some time and try it out which I certainly will!
Hardware is a grey area for me since I love it but have no experience other than back in the day with my Tascam 4-track and tape decks. And since I'm not really a keyboardist, I feel like it might be smarter to pass on doing a trade so I can put the cash towards my insane recent debts. But first I want to know your thoughts - especially if you guys own any of these things he's offering. In the meantime I'm watching some videos on this stuff.
Thanx,
Jace

Hi Jace
It comes down to two things, do you value those things more than the cash, and of course of those things are working properly? Assume the latter for now and that should help with the former.
I would assume that your Rhodes(?) is almost irreplaceable yet what he has is pretty common. There is lots of what he has to your one thing and that seems attractive but do you only put yourself in a world of clutter?
My two cents would be that I would take the cash, clear my debts, and revel in that freedom (and all the toys you already have in Reason).
