FREE screen recorder

Can anyone recommend a decent FREE screen recorder for Windows 10?

Windows 10 actually comes with a built in screen recorder. Well it's there if you have the XBox App. I got hold of this but apparently my gfx card is shown as not being suitable when I try to use it! I did have another really nice screen recorder on Windows 7. Emotion encoder I think it was called. Another Microsoft thing but I don't think you can get this anymore. So I'm back to the drawing board for another good freebie.

Tried a few already. They are either crap quality, can't export video to any normal format or not actually free at all & prompt you to pay to remove watermark or record more than 60 seconds etc. I don't mind paying a little if its decent. Just weary of paying for any of these things on the strength of the most of the ones I've tried have been a bit cack! Still looking ........

i use this for my Vids ! it has quite a varied pallet of FX too .... very solid & they are always updating it !!!!

15$ a year for the pro version ....
