Everything's a tool, and tools specialize at different tasks. A drill and a screwdriver both deal with screws but theres a time when one is more appropriate for use than the other. That's how it is with DAWs and plugins. Nothing wrong with having a toolboxaeox wrote:I admire anyone who can have multiple DAWs open at once. I've never felt the needs to use another DAW alongside Reason. I use to worship VST until I learned how to design all sounds by myself.
Waves VSTi on Reason
Hmmmm.
I think reason rewired into something is a better bet than the other way around. For example, with a little know-how, reaper is a terrific DAW. Far better for real editing and being able to use vst's. Reason can be the robin to batman in this situation.
In the end, reason will never have VST support, nor should it. What reason should do is actually make workflow improvements. (And allow transfer of RE's )
