Well...I'm of two minds here...yea I'm sure that there are plenty of times that these plugins would work but It's also gratifying getting your masters there as much as you can... feeling like you produced or engineered your sound is what would motivate me and help build some sort of confidence. If you go to another studio that doesn't have these plugins...you might feel inadequate.
Software company want to make the tools appeal to more people I get it, But I sometimes like to have the choice to dig into a device and discover.
This is why we all like THOR/SERUM there always seems to be something to explore with those devices!
