Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

I just got Korg's M1 software and want to install it on my main PC but also on a laptop so I can run the laptop as a standalone. I have not registered the software yet because I'm not sure if it locks it onto one computer. I'm only intending to run the software on one of the computers at a time. I have contacted Korg about this but not heard back from them yet.

According to the license agreement found on KorgUser.net they say the following regarding the Legacy Series :

"Korg grants you, the original purchaser, the non-exclusive right to use the
program and the data file constituting this software and the upgrade
program(s) and the data file(s) which may be distributed to you from time
to time (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Licensed Program”) on a
single computer which is under your control and which allows use by one
person only at a time."

From my experience registering the software on my PC it did use my computer to generate an unlock code in addition to a license code that came with the product. I'm not sure if you could or not as I hadn't tried but I would suspect based on that information that it isn't possible without possibly rendering the currently registered version inactive. I've added the license agreement for your reference.
