*FREE UPDATE* Well except for PUSH 2 of course :-)
My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!

Wow. That Push 2 is fantastic. I always had a thing for Maschine but never bought it because of it's sequencer. This does more and does it better. Thanks for sharing.

I've always wondered if I should have gone the Live route. At the time I experimented with the free version, I could hardly make heads or tails of it. I couldn't understand Reason, either, but for what ever "reason," Reason started to gel before Live, so I stuck with Reason.

But if you were to go with the Full Monty Live outfit now, YIKES! Sticker shock! USD 1398.

This is such a killer update with the new Simpler and Analog Modeled filters. Simpler is now the best sampler ever. And the Analog Modeled filters are simply superb sounding. Ableton with Max is like the most killer complete DAW at the moment. For modern music making. It might inspire the Props. Competition is cool :D

And Link for iOS is huge. Very clever stuff to link laptops and iOS devices via WIFI!

Still no automation snap or automation clips? Still impossible for me to build a full track in :(

I couldn't care less about Push, new sounds or gimmicky Wifi stuff.

Sounddesign-wise, which is what I use Ableton for, Simpler filters and Max additions seem nice though.

Also, holy fuck, Live Suite is 599 euros?!

Glad I already own it, I remember buying it for much less. 9.5 is free, right?

Was lucky to be able to buy a suite edu license last friday.. Didn't know about the pending update else i would've waited. Found it in my email a day after first authorizing. I can confirm the update was free.

Don't forget that with the Suite you get amazing sounds and all these extra tools. I think it's a cool deal.

At €330 a no brainer.. Don't have much free time currently, but I'm extremely curios what I can do with M4L.

What's even better is that Ableton dumped Akai and made Push 2 themselves. So now it'll work with 3rd party plugins. Open systems are the wave of the future. Companies like Akai and Props will get left in the past.

Pretty exciting stuff. I hope to own Live and Push 2 at some point; maybe next year.

Just watched a few videos. This is the kind of integration that Reason users can only dream of, best in class stuff. I'm very impressed.

I came from ableton. Was not happy with integration of live/push.
