Hi,

I wonder if any of you guys have tried or know about the ICON Qcon Lite and how well or not works with Reason.
There are very few links with info about it, it's very cheap and is similar to presonus faderport.

If you have any comments about it please let me know

Here is the device in a music shop to check it out

Thanks

Support for iCon stuff seems to be woeful but the products themselves seem to work OK, and they offer some nice bang for the buck, I have a couple of their low end devices which are similar to the Korg Nano series although you are pretty much on your own as far as setting them up goes with anything that doesn't support standard Mackie controls.

However stateside things do seem a little bit better as far as support goes so before you go ahead it might be worth registering for support here and ask them a few questions before pulling the trigger.

To sum up. The products are good value it's whether you feel happy about the support you are going to get so tap them up before going ahead.

I have the iCON Qcon Pro and 1 EX and they work fine with reason out of the box, but I have remote mapped them completely after I had used them some months and now I can control 99% of reason just using the Qcon's. The lite I havvn't tried but it has mackie control so it should work quite good with Reason
