I am looking for a quality solution to convert from 192k*24b to 44.1k*16b.
Discovered a new resampling/dithering solution for myself.
That's foobar2000 with foo_dsp_resampler plugin.
SRC Comparisons show good graphs and it's free.
Not sure only about the dithering algorithm they use.

Izotope RX4 is of course better, but I don't own it.

Looks like it's exactly the same resampling algorithm as Audacity. And that's a good thing. :)

Yes, they both use this library: http://sox.sourceforge.net/SoX/Resampling

Never met Audacity before, but for my purposes Foobar seems to be better.
It's easy to do batch processing with preset parameters in it, and anyway I use it as a player.

Heh, I use SoX for quick converting between data formats (e.g. 32-bit float to 24-bit before Reason support, or stereo to mono). I never thought to check how good its SRC is.
