Uhh. *cringe-inducingly erotic noise*
That is way sexy. Nice.
What's your preferred workflow like on this setup?

Not sure I have one! :-/ But I recently added an Expert Sleepers ES-3 & that has changed EVERYTHING. I'm now using Reason to pretty much control everything on the modular using this + MIDI-out for the MFB drum machine & Neptune 2 synth. Everything recorded back into Reason.

Get rid of the chest of drawers.. you need room to Mosh when the Beat in there gets Crazy!!
Cover the whole far wall with extra soft mattresses. Then, you can throw yourself into it without getting hurt.
When the Energy dies down - or before it picks up - have a Pipe in that Monster cool Cordovan Leather Chair.
It's the Local Custom, ole Boy.

You have some KILLER Hardware/Software integration, right there, FW. Very nice.
I haven't cracked that nut yet. I think of Reason as Post-"Production" - or Pre - these days.
I need to work this out.
I have YET to purchase a MIDI to CV to USB module, so my HW and SW worlds only meet at

It's pitiful.

Yeah, the drawers were what the mixer and a couple of other bits were sitting on before I had to much and had to put the bigger unit on the left. It's actually two sets of drawers so I'm planning to get rid of one and cut the other one down a bit shorter.
Actually my house is made of wood, so I don't know if doing that would be a good idea

That's what the mattress is for

The Expert Sleepers ES-3 has been a revelation for this. There are a number of ways to do this kind of thing these days. But the ES-3 has been a really nice solution. It's not very expensive at all (providing your already have ADAT-out on you interface) and was very easy to set-up & put into action. The final, very important piece of the picture was Robotic Bean's CV-O to allow conversion of Reason's CV to audio to send out to the ES-3 via the ADAT-out (1-8). It's fucking fantastic

Cool, do you have some tutorials on YouTube I can see? By the way, I like the furniture of your studio, is that one of the output studio desks?

Why yes it is! And sure. I’m in that stage of trying to reboot the channel and get my bearings straight on actually putting time into it.
